Welcome to Comeclass! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Comeclass electronic attendance management platform, mobile applications, hardware, RFID tags, and SMS notification services (collectively, the "Services").
By registering a school, purchasing our hardware/tags, downloading the Comeclass Mobile App, or using our Services in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
"Platform" / "Service" refers to the Comeclass web dashboard, mobile application, RFID scanning hardware, and SMS notification network operated by Comeclass.
"School" / "Institution" refers to any educational institution, proprietor, administrator, or authorized staff member deploying Comeclass for attendance tracking.
"Parent / Guardian" refers to the parent, legal guardian, or designated family member receiving attendance alerts regarding a student.
"User" refers collectively to Schools, Administrators, Staff, and Parents accessing or using the Service.
"RFID Tag" refers to the physical radio-frequency identification card, smart tag, or bag badge issued to students for gate tracking.
Comeclass provides digital student attendance management solutions that allow Schools to record student arrivals and departures via RFID technology. The Platform dispatches real-time entry and exit notifications to Parents via direct Short Message Service (SMS) or mobile push notifications.
Authorized Setup: Schools warrant that they have the legal right and authority to implement electronic tracking for enrolled students within their custody.
Account Security: School administrators are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials for the Comeclass Dashboard and for all activities that occur under their account.
Hardware & Scanning Duty: The School is responsible for ensuring that designated staff members accurately perform RFID tag scans at school entry and exit points. Comeclass is not responsible for missed notifications resulting from staff failing to scan a student's tag.
SMS Delivery: Comeclass relies on third-party telecommunication networks to deliver SMS text alerts to mobile phone numbers. While we strive for instant delivery, Comeclass is not liable for delayed or undelivered SMS messages caused by telecommunication network outages, poor signal coverage, or incorrect phone numbers provided by the User.
Accuracy of Information: Parents and Schools are responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date primary phone numbers and contact details.
Ownership & Care: Students and Parents are responsible for maintaining the physical condition of issued RFID Smart Tags.
Damaged or Lost Tags: If a tag is lost, damaged, or tampered with, the School or Parent must request a replacement tag through the Comeclass administrative desk. Applicable replacement fees will apply.
System Compatibility: Only official Comeclass RFID tags and authorized handheld scanners are guaranteed to work with the Platform.
Data Ownership: Schools retain ownership of their student enrollment and attendance data.
Use of Data: Comeclass collects and processes personal data (such as student names, guardian phone numbers, grade levels, and attendance timestamps) strictly for the purpose of delivering the Service.
Data Protection: We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect student data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. We do not sell, rent, or trade student or parent personal data to third parties.
Subscription Fees: Schools agree to pay all applicable service, software subscription, and hardware setup fees according to the agreed billing cycle (monthly, termly, or annually).
SMS Rates: SMS notification packages are subject to standard telecommunication rates and terms agreed upon during school onboarding.
Non-Refundable Hardware: Purchased RFID tags and handheld hardware are non-refundable once activated and deployed, except in cases of manufacturing defects verified within 14 days of delivery.
All software code, user interface designs, logos, trademarks, and documentation associated with the Comeclass platform remain the exclusive intellectual property of Comeclass. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform solely for school attendance tracking.
Operational Scope: Comeclass is a digital administrative and notification tool. It does not replace physical school security guards, perimeter fencing, or parental supervision outside school grounds.
Disclaimer: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Comeclass shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from missed scans, unauthorized student departures from school premises, or telecommunication network failures.
Service Upgrades: Comeclass continuously updates its Platform and reserves the right to modify or enhance features with reasonable notice to Users.
Termination: Comeclass reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any User or School that violates these Terms or fails to meet payment obligations.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
